The Ruins of Time (Poetry of Place)

A collection of poetry dedicated to the broken gate of a rocky citadel, the ivy-clad ruins of a Gothic tower, tottering temple columns haunted only by owls, and the jungle-entombed traces of a vast trading city - the physical icons of a romantic engagement with the past. They have always fuelled our passion for travel and they have always provoked the poets, by the secrets that they guard, the mute lessons they preach, and the silent warnings they offer.
